ON EARTH HARTFORD MAKES ITS WAY TO PRATT STREET
A FAMILY FRIENDLY FESTIVAL DEDICATED TO SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTALISM.
To celebrate Earth Day this year, Breakfast Lunch & Dinner is bringing On Earth to Hartford’s iconic Pratt Street for an outdoor festival. In partnership with Pratt Street, Natural Dividends, Forgotten Flea, Comma Vintage and Cafeteria Media, the Earth-friendly fête will take place on April 25 from 12-5 pm.
Pratt Street, the festival’s host venue, is a historic brick street in the heart of Downtown Hartford that is only open to foot traffic, making it a unique and fun place to host community events such as On Earth. During the event, shop from the stores and restaurants that keep our Greater Hartford community vibrant.

The mini arts and culture festival will feature live music, DJs, workshops, vendors, a vintage clothing market, Earth Talks, tabling from community partners and much more. Music begins at noon and will be played throughout the day, providing a scintillating soundtrack for the sustainable soiree. The family friendly affair will also include hands-on workshops, allowing attendees to indulge in pottery, an upcycled jewelry bar, bicycle repair seminars, arts and crafts, screen printing and seed planting. Eco-minded fashion lovers will enjoy a premier vintage clothing market and several unique artisan vendors to shop from, which is made possible through longstanding partner Forgotten Flea.
On Earth Hartford is not only a celebration, but it is an educational event that teaches the importance of celebrating the Earth through environmentalism and sustainability. For those looking to learn more, a live panel style discussion dubbed Earth Talks will feature leaders in the Connecticut Sustainability scene.
The midday festival also joins a community Earth Day cleanups of Hartford’s historic Bushnell Park, encouraging attendees to show their appreciation for the planet by helping clean and restore one of the city’s many beautiful public parks. The community cleanup is on Saturday April 25 from 10 am - 12 pm. While On Earth Hartford is free and open to the public, donations are accepted and appreciated.
We’ll see you at On Earth Hartford on Saturday, April 25, from 12-5 pm.
