TRINITY FILM FESTIVAL CELEBRATES ITS 15TH ANNIVERSARY

SUPPORT STUDENT FILMMAKERS

Trinity Film Festival rings in its fifteenth year of spotlighting and supporting student filmmaking on May 2nd. The annual event allows undergraduate filmmakers to bring their cinematic visions to life on the big screen, giving them their big break and a chance to share their stories with the world.

Held at Trinity College’s Cinestudio, Trinity Film Festival 2026 offers emerging filmmakers the unique opportunity to premiere their short films in front of an audience filled with fellow students, movie industry professionals and local cinephiles. While TFF 2026 originated in Hartford, Connecticut, its influence reaches far beyond the capital city as undergraduate students across North America submit their films for a chance to be a part of the festival. TFF 2026 will feature 22 short films created by collegiate cinematographers from California, Canada and of course, Connecticut as well as everywhere in between.

Support the new generation of filmmakers by attending the 15th Trinity Film Festival on Saturday, May 2nd at 6pm. Tickets are available for purchase on Trinity Film Festival’s website as well as the Cinestudio box office. Guests are encouraged to wear attire fit for a red carpet and are invited to the post-film awards ceremony immediately following the screenings. Because films of all genres are accepted, some material may not be suitable for children and viewer discretion is advised.
