What to Expect

Hartford cafes compete IN A CHARITY RECREATION SOCCER TOURNAMENT for bragging rights and tHE CHANCE TO HOLD the Moka Pot in their shop until next year. THE MOKA POT IS In benefit of Active City and youth sports in Hartford.

Part block party, part soccer tournament come for the community. Expect food trucks and drinks, coffee culture, vintage soccer gear, DJs, and of course some friendly competition. 

❋ WHO

Everyone is invited. The Moka Pot will take place as part of Active City’s annual Play Day event for Hartford Families. Teams representing Hartford coffee shops will compete to be kings and queens of the court made up staff, customers, and friends of each shop. A limited number of spots are available for unaffiliated interested players (see Player Interest Form button above)

June 6th 2026 with the festivities kicking off at noon and going until we have our inaugural Moka Pot champion. 

❋ Where

Find the Moka Pot at Colt Park’s hardcourt futsal court, we like to call it the ‘Field of Gems’ (more on that below)
